Akright City is a residential community in Wakiso District of the Central Region of Uganda.

Rhine Village which makes one of the 12 distinct villages of Akright City is situated on the western part of Akright City.It is comprised of very calm and high profile people of different calibre.Some are very prominent business people and some are corporate office people.

It is comprised of about 90 homesteads of which a large number of people are in Diaspora but part of their families stay in the city.

This year 2026,the tasks ahead which the Chair and his team will put emphasis on are:

1) Street Lighting

2) Drainage( Work is ongoing on Sycamore,Amelia shrub and next will be Citrus street and others)

3) Security at street level

4) Gate numbering and road signage.

5) Greening of our streets by planting more trees and flowers.

6) Keep Rhine Village clean by making roasters at street level on periodical street slashing nicknamed(Smart up)

Message from the Chairman:

On behalf of Rhine Village and on my own behalf,I would like to thank the residents of Rhine Village for the trust they showed me in electing me for the 3rd time to lead them.

Through our community engagements,and together with my team,I have no doubt that all the unfinished work in 2025 will be completed in this year 2026 and in line with the overall objectives and aspirations of the ACRA leadership.
